This first event will provide networking opportunities for small businesses and researchers to meet potential partners. There will also be speakers on a few of the Army’s Essential Research Programs so that prospective STTR applicants can learn more about Army needs!
Dr. Chol-Bum “Mike” Kweon will speak on the Versatile Tactical Power and Propulsion (VICTOR) program. The program’s objective is to develop knowledge and understanding of materials, designs, sensing and control to inform energy/ power solutions for future autonomous systems.
Dr. Chris Hoppel will speak on the Physics of Soldier Protection to Defeat Evolving Threats (PSP) program. The program’s goal is to provide protection overmatch against future threats and develop intelligent and adaptive protective systems.
